| The MRI was done on Tuesday and we are awaiting the results. Craig did
not think too much of the process, it was loud and long. Lori took the boys bowling this afternoon. Craig bowled a perfect
game, 20 gutter balls in a row. The second game was a little better, a final score of 55 including one strike (he actually
beat Brendan). Craig has been really tired a couple of days this week and we are not sure why. The therapists continue to
be pleased with his progress and remind us that 5-months is not a very long time when dealing with this type of injury, Sure
seems like a lot longer. We have some special adhesive tape that Craig wears on his back to help with his posture. When he
slumps the tape pulls on his skin and reminds him to straighten up. |

Thanks
to the family and friends that came and supported us today at church. While it was difficult to adequately express in words
all of the feelings of the past few months, it was great to be able to express our thanks publicly. In some way, today's
experience represents the close of another chapter in this saga. Craig continues to progress physically. this week we
noticed that his running is much more natural and his overall coordination is much better. In school, his teacher's have
been pleased, and one told us that he is performing'above expectations'. This week will be busy with 3-days of school,
2-days of therapy, and an MRI on Tuesday. The eye doctor decided that an MRI might be useful to see what is really going on
inside his head. While in the hospital, he only had CAT scans, as he was not physically able to undergo the MRI procedure.
This could be interesting as we have a pre-injury MRI from 2005 that was done as part of his migraine diagnosis. |
