We had a very nice thanksgiving at home with the family. Craig really enjoyed spending the night at home and he is looking
forward to coming home for good. While he is able to carry on a full conversation, he is still aware that he is not fully
awake and this concerns him. Unfortunately, we can't tell him when the next step will come, only that he needs to be patient
and keep working. he did a full mile on the treadmill tonight he felt really good about the accomplishment. I think the hospital
staff is getting tired of hearing about ducks.

I posted a new video link above (Video 4). This is a shot of Craig doing some solo walking in the hall today. He is home tonight
and it is wonderful having the whole family under one roof again. Craig has reached a stage which they told us would
come, where he kind of just blurts out whatever idea pops into his mind. It makes conversations rather interesting, and sometimes
a little uncomfortable. We apologize in advance to anyone he might offend during this time period! Craig is still advancing
well in all of his therapies and if things continue on track, we are still looking about 2-weeks out to have him home for
good.

One of Craig's goals for this week was to work on his walking, and he made a lot of progress today. He completed 115 unassisted
steps this morning, and in the afternoon he walked around the pond outside the hospital and did 1/4 mile on the treadmill.
This evening he did another 1/2 mile on the treadmill. The doctor's have decided a night at home would be good, and they
are going to let him stay home overnight on Wednesday, before the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday. Today he decided to start
a petition to allow ducks in the hospital, another good sign that his old personality is coming back.

We had a really nice weekend with Craig. Yesterday we went to Chili's for lunch, and today we went over to Red Lobster
(where Craig used to work) to see his old friends. We watched football and even got in the hot tub out back. Some friends
stopped by today, and tonight we went for a walk in the neighborhood. Craig is very aware of the fact that he is 'almost
awake' and he very much wants to come all the way back. He is also counting the time until he is home for good. He has
remembered how to laugh during the last few days, and it is wonderful to hear him make and respond to jokes. He gave his sister
quite the hard time today, and was very clever in the way he did it. He also feels that hospitals should allow ducks, and
that it should be the nurses job to clean up after them.
